A classically trained musician, Myleene has released several albums which have reached No.1 in the Classical Charts. She has hosted television series including the Classic Brit Awards, Popstar to OperaStar and The One Show, and is a regular panellist on Loose Women. In 2023 she co-hosted a new Sky Arts show, Musical Masterpieces, with Errollyn Wallen, exploring the magic behind three of classical music’s most famous works.
Myleene has been the host of Calm Classics on Saturday and Sunday night since 2006, the year she became part of Classic FM’s permanent line-up. Myleene has also presented on Classic FM’s sister station, Smooth Radio, since 2014.
In 2020, during lockdown, she launched her highly successful ‘Myleene’s Music Klass’ teaching music to the masses, and in 2022 launched the third of several new classical albums, My Lullabies. A mum and step mum of five children with her partner, Simon, Myleene has also released three parenting books that have reached the Top 10 Sunday Times Bestseller List. In 2022 Myleene published a new book ‘They Don’t Teach This at School’, a practical guide full of essential everyday skills, which is now also a podcast on Global Player.
Outside of presenting and music, Myleene also works as a designer and has collaborated with several brands including Marks & Spencer, Littlewoods, Skechers and most recently Next, with her own range of designs.
Myleene is a women and children’s activist through and through. She has been an ambassador for Save the Children for over 12 years now and is also and ambassador to Tommy’s, the baby charity. In 2023 Myleene successfully campaigned and changed the law for women who suffer miscarriages and the necessary care that needs to be provided. 2024 has seen Myleene join forces to become an ambassador for St John Ambulance and help them in their mission to teach the nation how to save a life. Myleene also works with the Kings Trust on various campaigns.
