Purnima has been at Unilever for over 23 years, building beauty brands, and is rather passionate about transitioning from a traditional world of marketing to a new social-first model. Prior to her current role, Purnima was the Global Brand VP for Simple, Tresemme and Sunsilk.

Before moving to the U.K in 2021, Purnima was the Head of Innovation at Lakmé, a local jewel for Unilever in India, re-inventing the Lakmé portfolio, across color cosmetics , skincare and salons.

Purnima has a diverse educational experience - from India to Singapore and London where she completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Management at the London School of Economics & Political Science.

She now calls London home, where she enjoys walks in the park, dipping into culture at museums and theatres over weekends and debating everything, everyday with her Gen-Z son.
