Calum began his career in aviation with British Airways’ original low-cost airline Go, while he was still studying at university. During his time with Go, Calum held a number positions across the airline including cabin crew, in the call centre and at the airport. Calum was also the senior crew member on Go’s last ever flight.

Calum has also worked at Virgin Atlantic, Air New Zealand and Etihad Airways in a variety of customer, brand, product and marketing roles.

Prior to joining British Airways, Calum was Vueling’s Chief Customer Officer for five years, responsible for transforming the airline’s customer experience.

At the start of 2022 Calum joined British Airways as Director of Business Recovery, before moving to the position of Chief Customer Officer. In his current role Calum is responsible for managing the airline’s marketing, on board product, ground product, customer care and in-flight experience teams.
