Having previously spent two decades traversing the worlds of visual merchandising and brand strategy for Habitat, Liberty and Yellowdoor (now the Portas agency), Katie is an expert in defining and predicting the intersections between technology, retail and consumer culture. Today Katie heads-up brand engagement at trend intelligence business Stylus, disseminating trends across digital commerce, store design, brand culture and burgeoning business practices for clients globally. Katie also contributes to Forbes, covering retail innovation and brand culture, and is the author of two books on visual culture: Stylists: New Fashion Visionaries and Fashion + Music: Fashion Creatives Shaping Pop Culture. She is an inaugural member of London College of Fashion’s Digital Anthropology Laboratory think-tank, a mentor for the British Fashion Council, as well as a ‘Critical Friend’ for tech start-ups within London’s Fashion District Innovation Hub.
