Advertising Week Europe, the continent’s largest annual gathering of advertising, creative, entertainment, marketing, media and technology industry leaders, has announced that the week-long event will take up new residency at Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly for its fourth London installment.
This year’s Advertising Week Europe, which opens its doors on April 18-22, will see the newly refurbished Picturehouse Central play host to the week-long thought leadership program which had been housed at BAFTA since 2013.
“BAFTA was where we began and the partnership with this great institution and the neighboring St. James’s Church, Piccadilly was a fantastic home from our first three years. Looking to the future and the needs of our Partners and Delegates, we simply needed breathing room. Picturehouse appeared almost magically at just the right time in just the right location and we are thrilled to stay in the same Piccadilly Circus area and be able to do much more for our constituents,” said Advertising Week Europe Chief Executive, Matt Scheckner.
In addition, Advertising Week Europe organizers confirmed the following:
- Ronnie Scott’s return as the host of the Leadership Breakfast Series
- Fortnum & Mason returns as the host of the Culture + Commerce Lunch Series
- Southwark Cathedral will host the 2016 Opening Gala
- The Orangery and Kensington Palace also return as evening venues
- Lambeth Palace and Mansion House join the evening roster of special event venues
- Scala and Koko will both host live concerts
- Soho Theatre will host a new industry-led comedy event
Advertising Week Europe 2016 returns to London for the fourth year from April 18-22, and registration is now open. Last year, the event attracted over 30,000 attendees, more than 10,000 delegates and over 700 speakers from across the advertising and creative industries.
